Looking around, you wouldn’t think that just a few days ago everything was covered in snow. However, on closer inspection there are still pockets of the white stuff hanging on. In spite of rain, warm winds and mild temperatures, snow is still to be found.
It’s the same as when we are trying to shake something off in our life but it still stubbornly hangs on. It just doesn’t seem to be going anywhere. That’s when we need perseverance to run the race successfully.
As Hebrews 12:1 tells us: And let us run with perseverance the race marked out for us.
