Look after others but, in the process, don’t forget yourself

I’ve been doing a lot of work on other people’s block paving of late. However, yesterday I did my own. It needed some attention itself and now, after 2.5 hours, it looks good.

There’s nothing wrong with helping other people. In fact, it’s desirable. In the process though, don’t neglect yourself.

In the Book of Nehemiah we read several times where people built the wall outside their own home.
