While out fishing, I noticed that, even though we are still in spring, the hawthorn blossom is now on its way out. It will be replaced by berries in due course but it’s also a reminder that time marches on.
It’s the same in our life. We have something to do today but we keep putting it off until tomorrow. In reality, tomorrow never comes and the task never gets completed.
Likewise, if there’s an open door, a door of opportunity, walk through it now. Come tomorrow it may well be closed.
