Autumn – for the followers of the meteorological system – began on September 1. If you are a devotee of the astronomical line of thinking though, you had another three weeks of summer to enjoy.
However you look at it though, all good things must come to an end and, even if you were hanging on to summer, it has now gone. September 23 is the first day of astronomical autumn.
The changing of the natural seasons mirrors life in general. Look back over the years and I’ll guarantee that your life is not the same as it was ten, twenty or fifty years ago.
Embrace change, don’t resist it – especially when it’s positive, of course. Let the old season in your life go and welcome the new one.
