I had a small bathroom painting job to do and what I love to do in that situation, is to play some favourite songs that I can sing along with.
I have a playlist on Spotify called ‘singalongs’, so Alexa obliged and played it for me. I can’t review all the songs because we would be here all day, I have quite a few favourites.
The song I chose to review this time is ‘I Know You’re There’ by Casting Crowns. They are a band from the USA but we actually manged to see them on tour in the UK, several years ago now. They have been described as pop/rock style and their songs, as far as I’m concerned, are very good for singing along to.
The aforementioned song is one of my favourites of theirs. I love the female vocalist, the tune and the lyrics. I have actually sung this in church a few times myself, so I know it very well. The lyrics definitely leave you feeling uplifted, knowing that God is there watching over us.
I’ll leave you to have a listen and make up your own minds, and while you’re there may I suggest you check out a few more of their songs too, especially on ‘The Altar And The Door’ album, you won’t be disappointed.
