Last Sunday we visited a church we hadn’t been to before, where Stewart was booked to preach and lead, and I was asked to sing.

The challenge this week was to find an artist or band beginning with the letter Q. I did wonder if I would be able to find anything.

Interestingly, August 28th is the exact date of their 30th Anniversary concert in 2025, so they became a band 31 years ago today.

A couple of his movie appearances are as an intern in ‘The Pursuit of Happyness’ and a member of the SWAT team in the 2003 ‘Hulk’.

I have three more artists for you this week, who make excellent music, but also use their songs to help people who are dealing with life issues, that they themselves have dealt with in the past.

As I like to bring new music with each blog, I have another drum and bass artist this week, King Jims. He is actually a friend of the two previously mentioned artists and they do a lot of collaborations together.

Had either of these jobs been left much longer though the cost and the immensity of the repairs would have been so much greater.

His bio on Spotify says he is a born again believer, his profile picture is of him with an enormous fish, so that answered my question. Yes, he is an angler, but also a drum and bass artist. I had to listen more.

I have a busy Sunday ahead, as I am providing the music for a church in the morning and leading the evening service for our physical church in the evening.

In a week’s time Stewart has been asked to take the service and preach at a church in Dudley, where I will be playing guitar for the worship songs, and possibly leading a couple of songs for the children.
