Both songs went well and so did the rest of the meeting. We always enjoy our times there, they are a lovely group. Tea, cake and lots of conversation always follows which is a lovely way to end the meeting.

So that is how I discovered Nathanael Bryce. He has a very soothing voice and some of the effects he uses are very relaxing. If nothing else I would recommend this as sleep music. What could be better than drifting off to beautiful Christian music.

Matthew West is the artist that brings us to the M in the alphabet. I listened to so many bands and artists this week but none of them really gripped me, until I found his music. The lyrics speak of everyday life and circumstances and always bring hope and positivity into each situation.

As much as I love all the American bands I have come across, I always think it sad that we don’t have many big Christian bands here in the UK. BUT…. this week I have excelled myself and come up with a great new band from Brighton, England.

I have something a little different for you today. I don’t think I could ever be accused of being stuck in one music genre.

Last Sunday, it was my turn to lead the first part of the service in the physical church that we attend. The opening song I chose was called ‘King Of Kings’.

He has a very different modern style to some of the artists I usually listen to but I really like it. The first song that stood out to me was ‘Glory’. I love his voice, the lyrics and the style of the song is just really different, it is a song that has really stuck…

We have recently been away on holiday and that means, a road trip playlist. Although I like many different bands and genres I always seem to gravitate to Stephen Stanley to accompany me.

I’m going off-track again this week, as I have found a band I like that doesn’t fit into an alphabet music challenge. Sounds odd, but when you see that they are called 7eventh Time Down, you can see what I mean.
