Fairest Jesus
I have saved my personal favourite till last and they are a rock band called Chaotic Resemblance. They aren’t my usual style of rock but I have really taken to their music. ‘Jesus Is King’ is the first track I have selected, it’s a beautiful rock ballad, singing praise to God.

I Believe In God…
One thought that came to mind, as I was preparing, is that we never have to say goodbye to God. We don’t meet with Him in church and then have to wait till next week to see Him again. God is with us at all times and goes wherever we go.

B Is For…
B is for B-Shoc, Band Reeves, Beacon Light and Big Daddy Weave, my favourite four of the many bands and artists I have listened to this week. I’m amazed how big the Christian music industry has become and how many bands there are out there to be discovered.

Let’s Start At The Beginning
This is why I love listening to Christian Music so much. There will always be a song to help us through whatever situation we may be finding ourselves in, and if we are just happily listening to music then there is plenty to enjoy there too.

New Year-New Music
As I promised last week, there is new music coming today. I have been on a Spotify search again and come up with what I think is another great find. I appreciate they may not be to everyone’s taste but I really like them.

How Can I Keep From Singing
Well, ‘Happy new Year’ to everyone, I can’t believe how quickly the days are flying by already. The first song I want to share today is one that has been a favourite of mine for years.

End Of Year Tribute
I want this blog to be a tribute to the ministry of Seventh Day Slumber and their work reaching out to people who are hurting and struggling with life and even contemplating taking their own lives. They are my band in the spotlight today.

I’m Getting Nuttin’ For Christmas
The real meaning of Christmas, as Carman says in that song is all about celebrating Jesus, so on that note, and as Cliff Richard used to sign off on his Christmas newsletter, I wish you all a ‘joy-filled, Jesus-filled, peace-filled’ Christmas.

Little Drummer Boy
Traditional Christmas carol covers, or reinterpretations is the theme for today. I love to see what various bands can do with a traditional song to make it completely their own.

Ring Them Bells
First up is my favourite ‘How Many Kings’ here by Downhere. I came across this band quite a few years ago now and this song is one that has stuck with me. The lyrics really bring home the true meaning of Christmas, with a great melody and vocals thrown in for good measure.
