One of their first songs I encountered was ‘Rockstar’, every time I think of the band this is the track that immediately comes to mind. It’s just one of those tunes that sticks with me.

Higher Power
I went in search of some new music this week. I have to say I got through a huge amount of songs, even though a lot of them were quite good, it was a while before I found something that I really liked and would be likely to listen to often.

Seventh Day Slumber
The songs all have a positive message to them which is so different to most of the secular rock bands. On the official website it says, “The band remains dedicated to addressing issues like addiction, depression and self-worth through their music ministry, and live performances, inspiring fans from all walks of life.”

More Broken Bones!
Crowder is the main artist I am looking at today and a song of his that has long been my favourite is ‘My Beloved’. His style of music is a blend of folk, rock and worship known as ‘folktronica’.
