Aside from the music, one of the best things to me about Skillet is that they have the rock image and sound, but they don’t live the normal life of rockstars with the drugs and bad living included.

I had no idea if there were any Christian jazz bands or solo artists out there so I asked Spotify to help me. To my surprise there were, what seemed to be, endless playlists for me to choose from.

Whilst thinking about this post, I came to realise, that even though I loved this song so much, I had not explored much of the bands other music. So that is just what I have done today.

I’ve decided to follow the internet trends and go viral this week, well not me personally, but the songs and artist that I am going to look at most certainly have.

This week I’m looking at Delirious? again, but this time it will be some of their tracks that have been sung in Churches over the years.

I’m going back in time this week to a band called Delirious?, who were, before they disbanded, one of the top UK Christian bands and have sold over 2,000,000 albums worldwide.

I really love the imagery this song gives, with God as our lighthouse, watching over us, keeping us safe as we navigate thorough life and come across our various troubles and worries along the way.

Cain is made up of three siblings and their voices work so well together, they are a family born to sing.
