Last weekend, I was speaking at Bridge Church. I can’t say that I was the visiting speaker, as such, because it is the fellowship that we attend but, nevertheless, it was nice to be delivering a Sunday sermon.
The church currently has a theme, and my topic was ‘guided by the Spirit’, so I shared how I met and married Debby is just months.
Keep believing and never give in – although we do need to know when to quit – but in this case it is definitely the former, as an update from my gentian continues to bring inspiration.
I was told a story by a lady recently, which I’ve called ‘taking the first step’, and that’s also in this week’s The Upper Room service.
“And I will give you a new heart, and a new spirit I will put within you. And I will remove the heart of stone from your flesh and give you a heart of flesh.”
