Welcome to the first The Church at Hiraeth service of the autumn from the upper room. We trust that you are challenged, motivated and blessed by this week’s recording.
There are a couple of messages based on observations from the last few days.
Firstly, the way that our lawns have changed at home very quickly. In just two days, now that the drought has come to an end and the rain has fallen, they’ve gone from brown and crispy to lush green grass. Going through a difficult time? Keep trusting because circumstances can change sooner than you think.
Secondly, while fishing this week, I saw the beginnings of a sunrise and I decided to capture it on video. After eleven seconds of time-lapse recording, it was gone. Make the most of the opportunities that life gives us in the present because, before we realise it, they have evaporated.
We’ve also had another question this week, with the gist being: What does the cross mean to you? On a personal level, how would you reply to that question?
