In our previous church, where I was the pastor, on Remembrance Sunday we dedicated the whole service to the theme of honouring, respecting and remembering those who have gone before and paid the ultimate price.
Now that we channel our spiritual focus through The Church at Hiraeth, nothing has changed. We believe that it is a special day and, although we can’t be responsible for what other churches or ministries do, for us it’s an opportunity to reflect fully.
Debby has chosen Guide Me, O Thy Great Redeemer as the hymn and, as well as remembering William Leslie Whitehouse who died when the Lancaster bomber he was in, was shot down over the Netherlands, there are other features as well.
