Welcome to the final service from the upper room for November, 2025. It also means it’s the last one of autumn and, from next week, we’ll be switching to Christmas mode.
Last Sunday, I preached at Bridge Church Gornal and there’s footage from that in the video, as well as a mention on what I was talking about.
I played football on Tuesday and went fishing on Saturday. Both are the illustrations for the inspirational message regarding not giving up because in due course it will come good.
The hymn that Debby has chosen this week is Standing On The Promises Of God. It was written by Russell Kelso Carter in 1886 and, along with so many other great songs from the nineteenth century, has most definitely stood the test of time.
