For the second Sunday service of December, we continue with the Christmas story, this time switching from Matthew to Luke, as far as the book of the Bible is concerned.
Jesus – the King of Kings and the Lord of Lords – wasn’t born in grand circumstances. In fact, quite the opposite. Humble is the word that comes to mind.
Once he was born, who were the first people to hear about the good news? Shepherds. Not professionals or educated people, instead those who were considered lowly.
