Welcome to the final online service from the upper room for January. Time certainly flies as we move on in 2026. I guess there’s not many of us that still call it the new year at this stage.

Our statistics are doing really well and we have now surpassed the previous best month, which was October 2025. It’s more than just a figure on a screen though, it means that we are reaching even more people.

We’ve had another question this week that looks at finding our call and how do we know what it is. It also included asking me about my own call and there are a couple of well-known Pentecostal pastors mentioned in my reply: Gerald Chamberlain and David Shearman.

Dressing appropriately is important, certainly from the perspective of what we’re involved in. There’s footage of when I’m on my way to church and also going fishing the following morning. What about the internal dress code though.

We have had snowdrops in bloom in our back garden for a couple of weeks or so now. They are linked in to Psalm 23:3, which is about restoring our soul.

If you are blessed by this week’s online service, why not share it, either with someone personally or publicly on your own social media platform? Thanks if you do.
