Fairest Jesus

Well, it’s time to reveal the C’s that I promised last week, and hopefully you will find them worth the wait. The four that I have chosen are varying in style, so there should be something for all tastes.

Chace Skelton is up first, with two very recent songs released in 2025: ‘The Lion Roars’ here and ‘Don’t Worry ‘Bout’ here. Both are very similar in their message, in that whenever we are up against it all, and have problems, don’t worry, instead give it to God. I really like his vocals and style. He hasn’t released many songs yet, but he is definitely one to watch.

My second choice is a band called Consumed By Fire, made up of three brothers called Caleb, Jordan and Josh Ward. Their childhood dream was to tour the world sharing the love of Jesus. I really like their style and vocals, and they seem to have a good sense of humour judging by the ‘Goodbye Ole Me’ video here. I hope you enjoyed that workout! Another song of theirs that I really liked is ‘Hands Up, Praise Up’, and you can find that here.

Cochren & Co is next, with ‘Stained Glass Window’ here and ‘Through The Night’ here. He has an amazing voice, and writes some very beautiful and heartfelt lyrics about his own life’s journey. He has performed in some iconic USA venues, one being the Grand Ole Opry in Nashville. There is a brand new album coming out this year, so if you have enjoyed listening to him then keep an eye out for ‘Runs In The Blood’.

I have saved my personal favourite till last and they are a rock band called Chaotic Resemblance. They aren’t my usual style of rock but I have really taken to their music. ‘Jesus Is King’ is the first track I have selected and it’s a beautiful rock ballad, singing praise to God. You can listen here. After hearing that, I think you may be a little surprised when you actually see them performing here, live at CampRockfest singing ‘Unto The lamb’.

They are such a versatile band, going from full-on headbanging rock to gentle ballads. I think I’ll give the headbanging a miss, that would give me a serious headache, but I’m definitely going to work my way through all their songs.

As it’s my blog, I’m going to indulge myself by sharing another of their songs with you. I’ve chosen the band’s official music video of the song ‘Fairest Jesus’, here. I think this has to be my favourite song in my alphabet journey so far.

Well, I’ve absolutely loved the C’s, I told you they were good. I hope you have enjoyed them too. I wonder what gems await in the next alphabet letter? See you next week.
